17 June 2006 LabOUR/YouGov poll results published

1-6 June 2006 YouGov puts LabOUR questions into field, one to current members and a second to lapsed, lost or former members

May 2006 LabOUR Commission finalises questions for polls guided by head of the research team, Professor Stuart Weir and Professor Helen Margetts

March 2006 LabOUR secures funding to enable YouGov poll to be commissioned

February 2006 LabOUR fringe events at Blackpool Conference and Scottish Conference offered members further opportunities to share their experiences with LabOUR Commission members.

October to December 2005 LabOUR research team conducts Focus Groups of members and former members in London, Birmingham, Cardiff, Glasgow and Manchester

September 2005 LabOUR Media Launch and Annual Conference fringe event attract both media interest and members their first chance to share their experiences with LabOUR Commission members. 

August 2005 LabOUR appoints Professor Stuart Weir, head of the Democratic Audit, to lead research into Labour Party membership.

July 2005 LaBOUR agrees to focus on Party and role of members

May 2005 LabOUR meets to review Party prospects post-General Election
